Nursery Safety Notes Before You Buy

Nursery rooms that look beautiful can still need some adjustments before real use by your baby. Always follow current safety guidance and manufacturer instructions.

Hide nursery safety notes

Safe Sleep

Including pillows and blankets in the crib's inside and the baby's sleeping area can look stunning, but it should always be cleared before being slept in. While your baby sleeps, nothing should be left inside of the crib except fitted sheet only with the surface kept flat.

Anchor Down Furniture

All climbable furniture if not properly anchored could pose a risk to your baby. Anything which could be climbed - dressers, bookshelves, storage units, changing stations, TVs, etc. - should be anchored properly.

Always Double Check

We at ShopDreamyRooms do our very best to let you know what safety certifications a product used in a room design has. However, recalls do happen, so always confirm these certifications with the listing and/or manufacturer.

Safety Add-Ons

We have a list of additional products that go beyond the room's theming but are still essential for your baby's safety, such as furniture anchoring kits, outlet, covers, drawer latches, and more.
